What is pink?
Year 3/4 have been reading the poem, What is pink? by Christina Rosetti. After dissecting the poem’s style, language and patterns, students set about writing their own versions.
Students were intrigued by the poet’s style choices of not having capital letters after question marks and having a capital letter at the start of each line. Students were interested and challenged by writing in a style that goes against the rules of other genres.
