In 1A we have been exercising our fingers and strengthening them ready for our writing learning. Each morning we take part in a dough disco. Our challenge this week was to make the first letter of our names using dough. The children did so well!

Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.
