Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

We have been enjoying learning facts about the world : the seven continents and five oceans. We find singing is a great way to learn these facts. Join in at home – they are very catchy and we often find that children spontaneously burst into song or adults singing the songs as they walk around school!
