Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

It has been a cold and disrupted start to the year but the children have maturely navigated all the changes to drop offs and pick ups this week. It has been wonderful to see them again after two weeks away and to hear all about what they’ve been getting up to. We’re very excited for the term ahead and we look forward to the rest of the year.
