Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

It’s the end of our mini-topic, ‘Where in the World’, so we’ve spent some time looking at OS maps of our area and investigating what the symbols in the key means. Maps are really interesting and fun. We’ve really enjoyed finding our school and Scholes.
