Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

We enjoyed learning that mammals are a type of animal that have fur/hair and have live young. The children completed a sorting activity to decide if different animals were mammals or not.
