Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

What an exciting start it has been for the Year 3/4 children !
Last week, all of our lower key stage children went to Go Ape, Temple Newsam. The purpose of the trip was not only to build self esteem, take safe risks and challenge ourselves, but also to experience being surrounded by trees, which is our DT topic this term (treehouses).
