Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

Today, we have had a drop-down morning where we spent time learning all about Buddhism. The children learned where and when Buddhism began and the core beliefs of Buddhism. We spent time learning about the festival of Wesak and how Buddhists celebrate.
