Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

This week is Practice makes Perfect.
We’ve been learning how to round whole numbers to 10, 100, 1000, 10 000, 100 000 and 1 000 000. Please complete the worksheet in your book.
Our times tables focus will be the 12 times table (up to 12 x 12) and including division facts.
Practise counting forwards, backwards, starting from zero and then starting from a multiple, and don’t forget the traditional way to support your child: a couple of mock tests to see how well your child knows their tables!
