‘We love the school. The children are always happy to go and love to tell us what they have been learning.’ (Parent survey, 2023).

Scholes (Elmet) Primary School is proud to be a central part of the village community. It’s a modern, well equipped, spacious community school which has been a part of Scholes for over a century. Ofsted (2019) judge us to be a good school: ‘Across the school, including in the early years, teaching is good. Relationships between staff and pupils are strong. The staff team who, with governors, have high aspirations for the school, have created a happy and harmonious school community. The very caring and nurturing culture is underpinned by positive and respectful relationships.’
