Living and Learning – We’re all the same and all different

Wednesday 10 June 2020

Our Living and Learning learning this week links with the British value of mutual respect and tolerance. We aim to promote empathy and understanding in our school, making it a happy and healthy place to learn. We celebrate diversity and challenge prejudice. We have talked about this with the children who are in school and hopefully you have had discussions after watching the ‘We’re different, we’re the same’ video, which was part of the home-learning this week.

Here are some things that children said in school this week.

People should be treated equally.

It’s not fair when people are treated differently.

We should stand up for what’s right like Rosa Parks did.

We are kind to everyone!

It is good to be different and like different things.
