Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

This week, we’ve been practising adding the suffixes ‘ed’ and ‘ing’ to root words. To help them practise, your child should complete the table (one has been done for you) and then practise spelling the root words and the root words + the suffixes.
