Friday is library day for 1A, 1,2B and 2C. Please return your library books on Fridays. Reading to your child helps them experience fluent reading and gives them an opportunity to listen to stories or information that they couldn’t read themselves.

Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.
