Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

This half term, we are learning about plants. We’re learning about parts of a plant (roots, stem, leaf, flower, petal, branch, trunk) and we used our working scientifically skills to observe them closely.
Help at home by identifying plants or trees in your garden or local area, naming the parts.
