Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

This page is for our children - advice to help you to stay safe and be a happy and healthy person.
Today, Year 3 and 4 enjoyed a trip to Eureka. The main focus of our trip was to kick-start our mini-topic sound and hearing, starting next week. As well as looking at how an ear works and listening to different sounds in the sound garden, we also had time to learn more about our bodies and role play in the garage, house and bank.
We made the most of the lovely weather and ate our lunch outside. The children enjoyed playing in the gardens too.
