Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

This week’s Living and Learning lessons have all been about democracy. Children presented a speech if they decided they wanted to represent their class on the Junior Leadership Team (JLT). Then, we voted in the hall by putting our votes in a ballot box. We announced the winners in the Golden Assembly on Friday.
