Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

We have been talking about strong emotions in our Living and Learning sessions. Children need to be able to identify their emotions and understand that some emotions feel very big but that they do pass and change over time.
