Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

We use a website called Top Marks in maths. There are lots of fun games that help children use the maths they are learning at school. To help with place value this half term, we have played Place Value Basketball and used Paint the Squares, which is an interactive 100 square to count in different ways.
