Pyramid Mathematicians

Wednesday 11 November 2020

This week, in Topic, we have combined our knowledge of maths with our knowledge of how the pyramids were built in Ancient Egyptian times. The children had to predict how many blocks would be needed to make pyramids of different sizes. We use some cubes to help us. We also had a go at measuring ourselves using palms and cubits – Ancient Egyptian measuring units. This was great fun!
