Scholes (Elmet) Primary is a ‘one and a half form entry’ school. This means we take up to 45 pupils each year. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 are usually around this size, too.

This page is for our children - advice to help you to stay safe and be a happy and healthy person.
It’s been great to see everybody back at school this week and we have got stuck straight back into our learning in 1A.
In Maths we have been looking at 3D shapes. We’ve counted sides, faces and recognised 2D shapes within 3D shapes. We’ve also looked at some symmetry too.
In Science we planted some bulbs. We are watering them everyday and keeping the plant pot in our classroom so that it stays nice and warm.
